I have six main person values which I strive to live my life by: family, honesty, nature, perseverance, cooperation, and responsibility. These values are what I know I can always fall back onto.
One of, if not the, biggest value of mine is that of my family. This includes obviously, my parents, siblings, and grandparents but I also like to extend it much further. We originate from the same place so no one should be treated poorly for any reason with the exception of how they treated others.
My biggest, non-physical value is that of honesty. There isn't much more to say other than I do everything in my power to remain fully honest or to correct myself when it comes to light I am not. I absolutely love meeting people with this same value just because of how fundamental it is.
Exploring out in nature is what probably keeps me sane. Whenever a task or life gets too overwhelming, I find myself wandering the outdoors with no destination in mind. The trees, ponds, and critters are evidence to me that there is much more out there.
Preserving nature in whichever ways I can is a massive deal for me. Not necessarily the uncontrollable aspects such as climate change or dirtying the oceans but instead, the simple things such as not littering, not annoying wildlife, and remaining calm in the outdoors.
This relates to the previous value but you can't just stop. Things get hard but if you give up, you'll never know where you could've gotten to.
Not to be confused with collaboration. Collaboration inherently means working together while cooperation implies you can work alone so long as those around you and yourself get along and are on the same page.
I tend to work independently often so this aspect of those around me understanding me is a massive deal.
Once again, similar to the previous tenet but this is a major one. It's taking responsibility. There are few things completely out of our control, it's important to me that if something goes wrong (or even right), someone takes responsibility.
